A recent project at the Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport proves to be a great success for Harrelson Modular Construction, Inc. Current renovations underway at the airport could not have taken place until the ground floor rental car agencies were relocated. HMC's modular wall systems proved to be the prefect solution for the rental car complex temporary home in the existing parking deck.
Working with an architect firm in Birmingham, HMC helped design a 300ft long curved modular complex to house seven rental agencies. Gray painted steel modular wall panels created a retro-industrial look that blended uniquely into the concrete facade of the parking deck. Fitted with special low-E tinted window glazing and custom
entry doors, the modular enclosure transformed the once dark parking deck into a high end public service facility.
